Dr. Roskams, a public speaker for over 2 decades, has delivered over 300 invited presentations around the world on brain research, data-driven discovery, and creating a diverse and inclusive world of innovation. Her keynote talks have been presented in over two dozen countries on four continents and have reached broad audiences of academics, educators, lawyers, ethicists, judges, physicians and healthcare staff, technologists, engineers, entrepreneurs, investors, US Senators and Congresspersons, MPs on Ottawa’s Parliament Hill, and the Obama White House. She has also given local community talks to audiences of all ages in LA, Baltimore, British Columbia, NYC, Washington DC, London and the Isle of Man. The venues where she has spoken range from elementary, middle and high schools to universities; medical centers, from long-term care facilities and retirement communities to women’s prisons, Congress and the White House; Bars and Cafes for Public talks, TEDx, corporations, and conferences for scientists, engineers, technologists and educators. A passionate proponent for reaching across educational divides to make science accessible to all,  Jane has worked with a variety of national and  international organizations to find new ways to drive and support diversity in STEM, receiving multiple national and international awards for mentoring women, BIPOC and LBGT at all stages and avenues of STEM careers.
